My name is Kim Nguyen and I’m a senior at Lincoln Lutheran High school I’m in the 3rd block of Multimedia. This is a video about the 8th graders, I decided to make the video this way because I want my video to be fun more than something just all about memories. Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m not going to focus on the memories and make the video emotional, in this video, it’s going to be both about memories and funny moments of the 8th-grade students, my video is about 2:31 minutes long; I did it short because for me I don’t think the longer is the better, I prefer my video to be short but good quality. It took me more than 5 hours to complete this whole project. Even though I did spend a lot of time and put the effort into this project but since this is one of my really first edit video projects so it was not that great.

               This project was pretty challenging from the music choice to the transition and almost everything in the video. The proudest thing about my video is when all the beats match with the transformation and effects that I put in, those effects also are the most challenging because it’s hard to match with the vibes and the video. Secondly, creating the stop motion at 0:21 is not as simple as I thought, because I have paused the clip at the perfect beat. Thirdly I thought it was interesting to add the background noise in, but its turns out not really well at the end. Last but not least, since this is my first time editing a video in I movie, it was hard for me to find the tools and use them right, and that does cost a lot of time just to look and discover all the effects and tools. If I had a chance to re-do this project, I would choose a different song if I could do the project again, because this time I was pretty rushed when I chose a song for this video. I could’ve muted some of the sounds in the background but I didn’t. so I would like to spend more time on finding songs for the video and mute some of the black ground sounds.

               In conclusion, this is a pretty challenging project. It might be a little bit hard for me at the beginning, but I still enjoy doing this project because it helps me to develop my future edit video project. Throughout this project, it also helps me to fully understand the use of all the tools on I movie and how most of them function. For me, challenging and finding things is something I do enjoy sometimes because it feels super great after you figured most of the things out.
